We hereby inform you that Oscar van Soomeren is stepping down as CEO for health reasons.
Oscar van Soomeren started at Eurailscout in January 2018 and has turned Eurailscout into a stable organization. This has created a good basis under Oscar for further growth and developments for Eurailscout. We would like to thank him very much for these achievements, results and above all because Oscar is a passionate and valued colleague. We will miss him as CEO of Eurailscout.
We are pleased to welcome Frank van Veldhuijzen as the new CEO of Eurailscout starting September 1, 2023. Frank van Veldhuijzen has 15 years of experience in various management positions, mainly in the rail sector at ProRail and Asset Rail. In recent years, Frank has mainly focused on innovation and ICT developments. We expect that with Frank we can make a valuable contribution to the phase Eurailscout is currently facing and realize further growth and cooperation within and for Eurailscout together with our partners. We wish Frank every success and pleasure in his new position.
